Techie Tuesday: Pinterest Copyright Violation - Are You Guilty?

by Kathy DalPra -  Tuesday, September 04, 2012

pinterest copyright violationThis week we continue the Visual Marketing discussion with a focus on inspiration boards and Pinterest. Yesterday I shared the story of how I got prodded into a copyright nightmare that turned out to be nothing at all, but resulted in my permanent awareness of the scarier side of image copyright and the eventual deletion of many of my Pinterest pin boards. Today, I want to introduce you to the person that helped me figure out what my rights on Pinterest are (and are not) so you can protect yourself too.

Warning: If you believe ignorance is bliss and are not at all worried that what happened to me could happen to you, then this is not the interview for you. You may not like everything you hear, but you'll be all the wiser.
